Love Fridges 💚

Our followers have been sponsoring bike lights & we've been distributing them to cyclists who need them. A few weeks ago we did a bike light giveaway blitz focused on giving bike lights to bike couriers. They then volunteered to help distribute lights.

If you're unfamiliar with The Love Fridge Chicago, they are "community-sustained refrigerators, powered by kindness, generosity, and love" and they're popping up around Chicago. Each fridge is a work of art.

They're often powered by small businesses and stocked by anyone who would like to donate.

In an effort to share this project with all of you & to find even more opportunities to distribute bike lights to the south & west sides, we dropped off USB rechargeable bike lights at a few fridges. Our courier friend even brought food to include💚

As all of us think about the precariousness of this year's Thanksgiving, it's important to remember there are so many people in difficult financial situations. It's hard to even begin to understand the true economic fallout of this year and what it has in store for all of us.
